Bake To Donate strives to empower the youth voice in our community through baking. We host virtual bake sales and donate all proceeds to established nonprofit organizations fighting for social justice/humanitarian issues. Bake To Donate is for anyone who wants to support social changes without expending mental and physical exertion to do so. A lot of youth (and adults) feel passionate about social justice issues and want to do their part in making real change. We address this need of passionate, civic-engaged youth to contribute by creating a way for them to help advocates in organizations reach their goals through financial support. Bake To Donate also creates an incentive for less-involved people to support issues with the reward of a baked good in return for a donation and we can address many social issues with the range of organizations we donate towards.
